Wanderlust promises natural travels, but it takes you back to your childhood playing in the countryside. An intense and realistic green, like a spring morning. The citrus notes fade quickly to give way to a powerful green of blackcurrants, and soon an undeclared fig emerges as the star. It closes with sandalwood, soft cinnamon, incense, and cedar. It is elegant, versatile, and top quality. Fresh for all year round except winter, with beastly performance that exceeds eight hours. More than a trip, it is a journey in itself.

Wanderlust is the perfect name for this fragrance: walking, spring and peace. A hyperrealistic green landscape full of nuances that sets it apart in niche perfumery. From Oman Luxury, it offers fair pricing and sublime quality. It is a pagan spring festival, green yet without any harsh edges. Imagine an English garden from the late nineteenth century, strolling with Mr Hardy: fresh breeze and damp grass among exotic plants. The opening is citrus with potted mint and a fruity touch of fig leaf and gooseberries. Cedar and incense provide cohesion. Fresh, natural and exuberant, it projects more than any Hermès. Ideal for a summer cocktail or your signature scent, it sets you apart from the common grey.
Forget the opening, you know what this is about: it’s the most intense green I’ve ever smelled. Very linear, no surprises. You can detect fig, blackcurrant leaf, a hint of mint, a touch of pepper, ethereal incense, and a woody base. The saffron and cinnamon are diffuse spices. It smells like freshly cut grass left in the sun, or concentrated bales of grass from northern Spain, as if you were eating green figs. Projects like a beast with just three sprays in the heat, with an imposing trail lasting hours and staying on the skin all day, even though my skin eats perfumes for breakfast. My favourite for summer, hot springs, and luminous autumns. I started with a gifted split and now I have the 100ml bottle; it simply cannot be missing from my collection.
