I accidentally tried a Lidl fragrance yesterday (without knowing it was a women’s scent) and was pleasantly surprised: it smells exactly like my Greenery. It’s Cotton Blue, inspired by D&G Light Blue for Her.

More than a perfume, it was a seduction weapon capable of capturing hearts with force. What a shame Zara has dropped this fragrance, right when it was needed most; it has an original touch not found daily. It smells citrusy, as if you had really scraped a lemon: not just the yellow peel, but the white pith inside too. Accompanied by a potent amber and a subtle cedar, it lasts well for a citrus, around 6-7 hours with a moderate trail. Surely the amber helps it last. With Zara, Greenery will surely return under another name. It’s not perfect, but it gives you energy and optimism, something much needed right now.
