Le Male Eau de Toilette Airlines by Jean Paul Gaultier is an oriental fougère fragrance for men. Launched in 2020, this composition was created by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian. Its top notes of mint, cardamom, bergamot, lavender and hyssop give way to a heart of cinnamon, orange blossom and caraway. The trail rests on a base of vanilla, sandalwood, tonka bean, cedar and amber.

A good fragrance. I’m sure it’ll become trendy in 2021 if some cosmopolitan decides to wear it. For those who find One Million or the original Le Male a bit overdone, this is the new twist. Take advantage while it’s not yet mainstream, or they’ll stop producing it due to a lack of JPG advertising.
I picked it up on sale (75ml for €29) without even having heard of it, but since it’s Le Male, I went for it. Smells fantastic; you can really detect the cardamom, giving a cucumber-like sensation… very fresh. Then it settles into something sweeter and woody. The only drawback is the longevity and trail: poor projection and it doesn’t last as long as I expected. Perhaps it lingers on the skin more, but unless you’re standing millimetres away, it’s barely noticeable. I remember the original Le Males lasting on clothes for four days easily.
I’ve loved it.
Smells very similar to Ch Men and Momentum Intense; if you like those fragrances, you’ll absolutely love this bottle.
