Watch out for this one, it’s a cucumber and nobody saw it coming. I love it, for now, my favourite from the brand. Totally unexpected. Very complex. The truth is, it’s the discordant note in this house, which bets on simplicity and sobriety. Here we have a groundbreaking, heavy scent with loads of personality. Spicy, above all, with frankincense, coffee, chocolate, coumarin, woods and a touch of white floral. A proper bomb, but it works. It’s blown my mind.
Watch out for this one, it smells of cucumber and nobody expected it. I absolutely love it; it’s my favourite from the brand and totally unexpected. Very complex; the truth is, it’s the discordant note in a house that bets on simplicity. Here we have a groundbreaking, heavy scent with loads of personality: spicy, above all, with frankincense, coffee, chocolate, coumarin, woods and a touch of white floral. A proper bomb, but it works. A dense and complex perfume, with a thousand ingredients you can’t identify for certain but which you feel present. At first, an earthy, semi-sweet cacao dominates due to the patchouli, with a very masculine touch. As it dries down, the coffee takes centre stage; on my skin it usually turns rancid quickly, but not here. It’s accompanied by frankincense and ginger, adding sweetness and a fine kick, like those Christmas cookies from IKEA. It vaguely reminds me of Black Phantom by Kilian, but it’s less sweet and chaotic, and of Lord of Misrule by Lush, also less sweet, more complex and better made. The projection is good all day, lasting on the skin even until the next day and more so on clothes. It seemed delicious, intoxicating and executed to the full. Despite being a gourmand, it’s a sophisticated unisex scent, ideal for cold nights, going out or dates. It smells as much as it costs, and although I see it as an olfactory experience, it’s totally usable without seeming odd. Pleasant: 10/10 Interesting: 10/10 Versatile: 5/10 Original: 9/10
