Oud, dry tobacco, saffron and leather: that’s the essence. It’s brutal, challenging and certainly not for everyone. A potent, almost animalic oud blended with dirty leather and wet woods. It lasts eight hours on me without any issues. Ideal for autumn and winter; I repeat, it’s a demanding fragrance.
A good fragrance overall, with excellent value for money and top-notch presentation. It opens with saffron, nutmeg, leather and oud, which feel a bit too blended to my taste; it lacks depth and punch, yet it smells very nice. It stays linear for the first three hours with moderate trail and projection, then shifts to something more amber, sweet and creamy. It’s serious and formal, inspired by Khanjar by Oman Luxury. It’s nearly 90% similar but without the extra kick. In short, a good, elegant and masculine fragrance with moderate but perfectly acceptable performance. On my skin, it lasts between six and seven hours with moderate trail and projection. Recommended if you want to try Khanjar. Scent: 8.5/10, Trail: 7.5/10, Projection: 6.5/10, Longevity: 6.5/10.
