For under 500 pesos, it smells great. It’s a bit linear but opens with cardamom and ginger, then settles into vanilla and amber with a woody base. The apple and geranium are barely noticeable once it dries. It has a sweet touch with a slight talciness, like a refreshing cola without being cloying. Lasts around 5 hours max, with a one-and-a-half-hour projection and a one-metre trail. Ideal for cool climates or summer evenings; it’s not groundbreaking but no one finds it annoying. If you like that DNA and don’t want to spend much, it’s perfect for everyday wear.
Excellent perfume for the price; I paid around 500 pesos. It is slightly linear, but I enjoy it. It opens with cardamom and ginger, then softens after 10 minutes, leaving vanilla, amber and a woody base; the apple and geranium are barely noticeable once it has dried. It smells a little sweet with a touch of talc, like a cola refreshment without being cloying. It lasted up to five hours at most, with a projection of about an hour before settling close to the skin; six sprays are noticeable at a metre. It is worth it for the low cost and doesn’t hurt the wallet to repeat. It has no specific age range nor is it for hot weather; better suited to fresh climates or summer evenings. It is not novel or compliment-magnetic, but it annoys no one. If you like this style and don’t want to spend much for everyday wear, it is a good option.
Forget Pure XS: this smells the same but better—fresher, less sweet, and more mature. It’s incredibly versatile, costs less than half the price, and lasts longer. Buy it blind without fear.
