  • Marvellous. It has that talc-like touch of the other flankers and shares the woody accord with Ikebana Sakura, which is my favourite. The iris is beautiful and I notice something in the background that reminds me of suede, although there’s no note clearly indicating it. I do notice the ink… it gives it so much originality. I’ve been smelling it on my hand for two hours and can’t stop… It’s very pleasant, pretty, elegant and serene.

  • I tried it yesterday at a perfumery in Argentina and, frankly, it smells like plastic.

Luxury in a bottle! It was love at first sight. The star is iris: powdery, with violet-like floral nuances, and flashes of soft, spiced wood. The base vanilla is light, just to accompany the iris. At first it smells strong, then it softens and becomes subtle and sophisticated. I don’t yet know how long it lasts, but I’ll keep testing it to tell you more.

  • It doesn’t leave much of a trail, but what a rich fragrance. Worth it if it’s on offer.

  • On the blotter it smells fresh and mineral with floral touches, light and clean. After a minute it becomes sweeter and slightly medicinal, then vanilla, amber and salt remain. On the skin, however, that stereotypical feminine fragrance dry-down dominates. Fortunately, it projects nothing. Disappointment.

  • On blotter, it opens with a fresh, mineral and floral note, light and clean. Within minutes it turns sweeter and slightly medicinal. Then it settles into a vanilla, amber and salty base. On skin, this final stage dominates with a stereotypical feminine fragrance scent. The good thing is its low projection. A letdown.

Looks beautiful and refined, smells like that vintage makeup I used to love, it has a very nostalgic air. What a pity it doesn’t last even a moment on the skin…
