I tried it yesterday and it smells delicious on blotter, but I need to test it on my skin which has a very particular pH. I would love to add it to my collection; Lancôme clearly loves praline and patchouli, so it shows.
What a lovely scent!
A disaster for my nose; it smells of pure sugar and is quite disgusting.
How delicious! On me it smells of caramelised and vanilla flowers. Honestly, I don’t notice much praline, perhaps a hint of almond. I always tried the EDP and it seemed very heavy, even bitter, so I thought it wasn’t for me. Until I found the EDT and yes! It’s a more bearable and cheerful sweet. My husband and I are delighted; finally a perfume we both like. It works well in warm climates thanks to the fresh touch of the flowers. Longevity is spectacular and the projection is heavy. It works brilliantly on clothes and hair. I had doubts about the quality and longevity of these versions, as sometimes they are inferior, but in my opinion this is identical to the original perfume in longevity, projection and trail.
How delicious it smells! On me, it smells of caramelised and vanilla flowers. Honestly, I don’t detect much praline, though perhaps a little almond. I always tried the Eau de Parfum and found it very heavy, to the point of becoming bitter. I even thought this beauty wasn’t for me. Until I found the Eau de Toilette and there it is: a sweeter, more bearable and cheerful fragrance. My husband and I are delighted. Finally, I found a perfume we both like. It works well in warm climates too, as the flowers give it a fresh touch. The longevity and projection are spectacular. It works very well on clothes and hair. I had doubts about the Eau de Toilette regarding quality and longevity, as sometimes these versions are inferior, so one prefers to be sure by buying the perfume. However, in my opinion, this version is identical to the perfume in terms of longevity, projection and trail.
How it sits well! It’s an improved version for me, softer and more wearable. They resemble each other but are different: the EDP is praline, patchouli and a touch of floral; the EDT is praline, caramel, magnolias that give a citrus freshness, more almonds, iris and vanilla. If you can’t stand the EDP, try this. I don’t sense the patchouli, it lasts over 12 hours and although I feel the projection is moderate, it must be greater because every time I wear it, people reach out to me.
What a great find! It’s an improved version of the original (for me), softer and more wearable. They are similar but distinct: the EDP is praline, patchouli, and a floral touch; the EDT has praline, caramel, and magnolias making it citrusy and light, with more almond, iris, and vanilla. If you can’t stand the EDP, try this instead. I don’t detect patchouli, it lasts over 12 hours, and although the projection is moderate, it should be stronger. Every time I wear it, I receive compliments.
It’s a heavy perfume, very long-lasting, ideal for winter and for women over 35.
I have both versions of LVEB: the EDP and the EDT. With the first, my partner complimented me; with the second, he said he ‘couldn’t smell anything’. When I apply the EDP, I aim for few applications, no more than 3 puffs (maximum), and yet I still leave a trail; but with the EDT, I treated myself to a perfume bath and still, they couldn’t smell me from afar. So the EDT is for personal enjoyment, while the EDP is for seducing and attracting glances. Now, the LVEB EDT looks similar to the first at first glance, but in reality, its notes have changed, and here I clearly distinguish the almonds and spun caramel, which doesn’t happen with LVEB EDP (there I feel a jumble of notes I can’t distinguish exactly other than the vanilla). But these new notes or ingredients make it so delicious that I like my new purchase. Life is beautiful, in any of its variations. I bought the 100ml bottle on offer, but now I understand why it was so cheap. (They don’t reach me from afar and I have to apply a lot), meaning the 100ml of EDT will last as long as the 30ml of EDP.
I have both versions of LVEB: the EDP and the EDT. With the first, my partner threw flowers at me, but with the second, he said he couldn’t smell anything. With the EDP I use at most three sprays and still leave a trail; with the EDT I drenched myself in perfume and still couldn’t be heard from afar. The EDT is for my own enjoyment, the EDP for seduction. At first glance they smell the same, but here I clearly note the EDT with almonds and spun caramel, something that doesn’t happen with the EDP where I only sense vanilla and a muddle. These new notes make it so delicious that I love my purchase. Life is beautiful in either version. I bought the 100 ml bottle on offer and now I understand why it was so cheap: they don’t project well and you have to apply a lot, so the 100 ml of EDT lasts as long as the 30 ml of EDP.
Delicious, of very good quality.
I have the Eau de Toilette and it lasts a very long time, around ten hours or more; the trail is also very good. It’s rich, but too sweet for my taste, and with such longevity, it can become tiring. However, the quality of the perfume is excellent.
How delicious! Top quality.
It’s excellent in every way. It lasts a very long time, about 8 hours, and you can still detect it, though faintly. It doesn’t give me a headache like the annoying and despairing EDP version did. It smells similar to Katy Perry’s Meow, but the patchouli adds elegance. The bottle is refined and has precious details. It’s an explosion of caramel, vanilla and praline, then it becomes more floral but with caramel predominating. I don’t perceive almonds.
It’s excellent in every way. It lasts a long time, over eight hours and still noticeable, though faint. It doesn’t give me a headache like the EDP version did, which was relentless. It smells similar to Katy Perry’s Meow, but the patchouli adds elegance. The bottle is fine and has lovely details. It’s an explosion of caramel, vanilla and praline, then shifts to be more floral but still dominated by caramel. I don’t perceive any almonds.
I can’t believe it; I fell in love at first sniff. I had the EDP and hated it, so I threw it away and never thought of buying a flanker. But I received it in an exchange and decided to try it. Wow! LVEB Eau de Toilette has its mother’s loud DNA, but it’s the elegant, sophisticated daughter every mother wishes for. Yes, it’s sweet, but I swear, in these hot spring days, instead of being stifling, I love it to please myself. At first it’s almond and floral, staying so until the spun sugar and iris take control, taking you on a divine experience. It’s a soft, beautiful gourmand floral; I can’t explain it. Honestly, I don’t sense any patchouli, which is probably why I love it so much, as the EDP is a sweet patchouli bomb on my skin. It has become my favourite, the best of all, the Lancôme masterpiece everyone seeks.
I can’t believe I fell in love with this so quickly. I owned the EDP and hated it on my skin, so I got rid of it and never thought I’d buy a flanker. But I received it in an exchange and decided to give it a chance. Wow! LVEB Eau de Toilette has its mother’s loud DNA, but it’s the lovely, elegant, sophisticated daughter every mother wants. It stays like that for a long time until the spun sugar and iris take centre stage, taking the senses on a divine experience. It’s a soft gourmand floral, so beautiful I can’t explain it. Honestly, I don’t smell patchouli. Perhaps that’s why I love it, as the EDP is a sweet patchouli bomb on my skin. It has quickly become my favourite. This is the best LVEB of all. It’s Lancôme’s masterpiece that everyone wants.
I picked this up recently. I know it’s hard to come by, but it’s a delight. I adore that magnolia wrapped in caramel and praline, with the patchouli just right and not intrusive. Simply wonderful! What a joy to find it.
