Descripción
Loewe 001 Woman by Loewe is an oriental floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2016, this composition was created by perfumer Emilio Valeros. Its top notes of Italian mandarin, pink pepper, and bergamot offer a vibrant and citrusy opening. The heart reveals a soft elegance with sandalwood, Egyptian jasmine, and linen. Finally, the base notes settle with vanilla, amber, and musk, providing a warm and enveloping trail.

Definitely a very pleasant surprise. I am not a huge fan of Loewe; I had only tried Aura and felt their strength lies with men, but while looking for something new, I saw the first box unpacked. I smelled it ‘just to see’ and it was a delightful surprise. It has an exquisite, refined, and very feminine aroma, totally different from the market, with the strange touch Loewe always brings, but now for the better. Highly recommended, I am in love. The presentation is simple yet elegant, reminding me of old perfumes. The men’s version is also exquisite. 1000% recommended for both.
My highest compliments go to its masculine version, but I must say that this sweet, elegant, enveloping and milky Loewe fragrance pleased me greatly. It’s a pleasant surprise after trying an army of new fragrances that all seem the same: patchouli with sweets. This is different: amber and vanilla stand out, giving it a touch similar to coconut, but very soft and enveloping. The jasmine provides a support of elegance and the bergamot announces an olfactory dessert for greedy and demanding noses. Moderate trail and long-lasting. Recommended.

Although my highest praise goes to the men’s version, I must say that this sweet, elegant, enveloping, and milky Loewe fragrance pleased me greatly. I like it: citrusy, different, and characterful. It is not at all sweet or cloying. It is casual and suitable for any age and occasion. I adore the minimalist bottle and the scent, which could easily be unisex. It smells very much of forest, plants, fresh and pure. I like it quite a lot. A good option for all year round.
I like it: citrusy, different, with character. It’s nothing sweet or tiring. It’s casual and suitable for any age and circumstance. I love the minimalist bottle and the smell, which could very well be unisex. It smells very much of forest, of plants, of fresh and pure. I like it quite a lot. Good option for all year round.
I was pleasantly surprised by the sample. It is quite sweet but smells remarkably like Ralph Hot; in fact, they share identical notes such as citrus, jasmine, amber, and vanilla, with a slight hint of La Vie Est Belle. I detect a softened aroma of fig, fig leaf, amber, and caramel. It reminds me strongly of the fig and caramel scent in Ralph Hot. It is a bit beachy. I like it, I will be buying it, and it has good longevity.
I tested this on my skin and it smells very similar to the Adam Levine fragrance for women. I believe Adam’s version is superior; it lasts longer and has a more noticeable, interesting trail. Plus, you can find Levine’s for a fraction of the price of this Loewe launch, which is blatantly ‘inspired’ by it. If you like Loewe, spend less than $20 on a 100ml bottle of Adam Levine rather than the fortune this 001 costs.
It fell in love with me from the first moment. It develops typical Loewe nuances: clean, structured and with southern class. It opens with a beautiful breeze of citrus illuminated by a modern, airy pepper. Then comes the jasmine, current and peninsular. To finish, I add that warm Moorish influence of vanilla, amber and sandalwood, giving body to spring gardens. I feel refreshing but referenced to dense roots that suit well in the Mediterranean strip. The EDT is fresher and more minimalist. The Eau de Parfum lasts a long time; that sandalwood falls in love with me and gives me well-being and familiarity, putting it on my list of friends.
A sort of sugared peony with salty sparkles to die milky in the style of milk tea. It doesn’t carry peony or sugar or salt, but that’s what my nose smells. Ultra cloying, with a sickening sweetness. It’s a potentiated version of CK 2, without its mineral part and multiplying the sweetness. I’m incapable of feeling the listed notes, except for an unbearable torrefied vanilla with sweet milk nuances that makes the hair stand on end, like the white interior of Oreo cookies. I tried the masculine version and found it interesting, very much my taste; it came in the same box and I imagined a green floral adapted to the trends, in the style of Miu Miu or with vetiver and ozone airs. What I didn’t expect was this sort of fruit-chouli from Loewe. I’m dead.
It’s like a sugared peony with salty sparkles to die a lactonic death, in the style of a milk tea. It doesn’t carry peony, sugar or salt, but that’s what my nose smells. Ultra cloying, with a sickly sweetness. It’s a potentiated version of CK 2, without the mineral part and multiplying the sweetness. I’m unable to feel the listed notes, except for an unbearable torrefied vanilla with milk nuances that makes the hair stand on end, like the white inside of Oreos. I tried the male version and found it interesting, very much my taste; I imagined a green floral in the style of Miu Miu or with vetiver and ozonic airs. I didn’t expect a fruity chourou from Loewe. I’m dead.
A friendly sales assistant introduced it to me, although I don’t have very good eyes for this house. The Aura hits me in the face, but Pink Magnolia is interesting, even though it’s not my style. This 001 took me by surprise: a dry, powdery floral with citrus touches and a crystal-clear effect, presumably due to the flax seeds the sales assistant mentioned. I find it very elegant. The Egyptian jasmine reminds me of the velvet of Narciso Rodríguez’s For Her EDP and the sandalwood provides a bitter counterpoint that makes it ‘quirky’, as if it makes you open your eyes. It lacks the praline sweetness of the others; the uniqueness lies in the sandalwood. I tried it again and it became sweeter, like a juice of ripe mandarins in a frame of sandalwood and amber. Velvet jasmine, airy amber and lots of dry, golden sandalwood. It shares a certain dry, powdery style with Citizen Queen.
3/4/2020 – A sales assistant friend introduced this to me, although I haven’t had the best luck with this brand recently. The floral aura gives me a little fright, but I must admit Pink Magnolia is an interesting creation, even if it’s not my usual style. This 001 caught me by surprise! It’s a powdery, dry floral with citrus touches. It has a crystal-clear, limpid effect, presumably due to the flax seeds the sales assistant mentioned (they aren’t listed, but I noted them in the base notes and on NowSmellThis). It looks very elegant. The Egyptian jasmine reminds me of the velvet in Narciso Rodriguez’s For Her EDP. The sandalwood plays a masterful counterpoint to the powdery floral, adding a bitter note that breaks the harmony and makes it ‘quirky’, as if you expect to smell one thing and suddenly the sandalwood makes you open your eyes and wonder if you’re smelling correctly. I won’t deny it makes me think of Jimmy Choo or Nero Assoluto (perhaps the orchids?), but this 001 lacks the praline or chocolate-wood sweetness of the others. The uniqueness lies in the sandalwood, which undulates between sweet and dry woods, perhaps due to Iso E. I’ll try it on my skin, but I’d like to have it in my collection. 22/8/2020 – I tried it again. The opening became sweeter, but in a strange tone, not the typical sweetness of flowers or fruits. I sensed it as the aroma of sweet, ripe mandarin/bergamot juice within a frame of amber-sweetened sandalwood. Fascinating. What I read as notes I don’t find, at least not what I expected from that list. Soft velvet jasmine, airy amber (almost like violin rosin) and lots of sandalwood, golden from being in the sun, dry and radiant, is what stands out. After several hours, it reminded me of the dry, powdery tone of Citizen Queen drying out. They don’t smell the same, but they share a certain style.
I usually love Loewe, but this one doesn’t convince me. I have a sample and use it for sleeping, but it’s so strong that it doesn’t suit me. It smells unisex or even more like men’s perfumes to me; it puts me off a bit. I detect a very oriental scent, far too much for a Loewe perfume, which you thought were fresher.
It’s linear but a magnificent blend of vanilla, sandalwood and amber. Although marketed as feminine, the vanilla gives it a feminine vibe while the woody sandalwood and the warm resinous notes of the amber make it more neutral, almost masculine. It’s incredible for winter; that cosy feeling is sensational in the cold. It’s soft right up against the skin but, in my case, it lasts for hours and hours.
A perfume made for me.
I read several reviews and expected something more delicate, fresh, citrusy and light. I find it interesting and was surprised, but for now I don’t like it. It feels too invasive. It has something melancholic and antique, like smelling a relic. It’s quite unisex and that I do like; I tried it on my boyfriend and he liked it more. On his skin the citrus note was noticeable initially, though it soon disappeared. I’ve been wearing it for hours and lots of wood comes through, too much sandalwood and it seems cedar. Is it possible I’ll end up liking it? By habit or olfactory evolution? I don’t rule it out, because its notes give me that warmth of feeling wrapped in a blanket (though a bit old and frayed, it doesn’t give me complete comfort). It’s a perfume that dresses you, gives personality and doesn’t go unnoticed. To my taste, with less sandalwood and more vanilla it would win. The sensation is a bit like Bvlgari Au Thé Blanc, and for now I stick with that.

Out of habit or because my sense of smell evolves? I don’t rule out that I might come to like it because generally, its notes are ones I like, and they give me that warmth that makes me feel wrapped in a blanket (although a bit old and worn, it doesn’t give me complete comfort). I think it’s a perfume that dresses you up, gives personality, and possibly won’t go unnoticed. To my taste, with less sandalwood and perhaps more vanilla, it would improve. I’m not saying it’s similar, but the sensation is a bit like Bvlgari Au Thé Blanc, and for now, I stick with that.
A pleasant but unisex fragrance; on my skin, the citrus notes are very noticeable, along with the sandalwood that gives it that unisex touch. I would add more vanilla to make the perfume more feminine.
This perfume is a NO for me. Based on the notes, upon spraying it at first seems like I might like it, but after a few seconds, it’s an absolute no… it even makes my stomach churn. For me, it’s unisex; I perceive basically a very ambered sweet sandalwood… and little more. It’s a pity because I love sandalwood, but in this case, I don’t… so don’t buy it blindly… it’s different. It lasted on my skin longer than I would have liked, so regarding performance, I’d say quite good.

Reading the reviews, I feel we aren’t smelling the same thing. On my skin, the opening is spicy, woody, and sandalwood-vanilla. That’s how it comes out of the bottle and how it stays throughout. I don’t notice the citrus, except perhaps minimally to cut the sweetness and the dusty-peppery notes. I dare to say there’s cedar here, which explains so much of the woodiness. These sensations last at least 3 hours. I feel that the vanilla and sandalwood give a certain milky air, barely noticeable thanks to the spiciness and woodiness surrounding the fragrance and the person, like an Aura. It’s elegant and makes a presence; use it moderately and in cold weather. When you want to be noticed, because it’s a statement.
Reading the reviews, I feel we aren’t smelling the same fragrance. On my skin, the opening is spicy, woody and sandalwood-vanilla. Just as it smells without spraying, so it smells on my skin all the time. The citrus notes don’t appear, save minimally, to cut the sweetness and the powdery-peppery aspect. I’d dare say there is cedar, and it’s what makes it smell so much of wood. These sensations last at least three hours. The first thing I notice is the mandarin and vanilla with a touch of green sandalwood that takes prominence until becoming the main scent. If I had to explain it, it smells like rice pudding mixed with a fancy hotel air freshener. I love it; I can’t stop smelling my wrist. It has a good trail and lasts 9 hours on the skin, projecting for about 7 hours. I consider it unisex leaning towards a pretty feminine scent, suitable for use all year round without wasting time thinking about what to wear. It won’t drive me crazy with originality or complexity, despite being a very straightforward sandalwood. No one will remember how it smelled, but everyone will remember that it smelled pleasant. Pleasant: 7/10 Interesting: 3/10 Versatile: 8/10 Original: 3/10
A beautifully crafted sandalwood, feminine and beautiful.
I really like this fragrance. Soft, clean, sober, suitable for women over 30. Fresh at first, then it settles into a woody scent. Sandalwood and vanilla dominate. The downside is that it sits very close to the skin with weak projection and no trail. It lasts 8 hours on clothes. Ideal for every day or layering with something bolder.
Since its release, this fragrance has been mine. I love that everyone tells me I smell good. At the office, they know I’ve arrived before seeing me, and it’s the same in the supermarket. I love that this scent is mine; I can’t find anything similar, which is a problem if Loewe discontinues it, just as happened with Wrappings by Cnrique, leaving me alone searching for something to identify with.
A citrus and woody scent that fails to impress. It ticks all the boxes for going to work: it’s not overpowering, soft, fresh, clean, and very stable. Lacking much personality, I see it as a neutral piece for the back of the wardrobe. Ideal when you want to smell good without defining anything or imposing a presence. Very pleasant, kind, luminous, and EASY. There’s a faint echo of orange juice with wood, a linear formula that hardly changes. Loewe knows how to create these kind and versatile formulas. A gift-worthy 100% due to the high probability of being liked.
