What a marvel! I acquired it recently looking to stand out. In a department store, the Dior lady suggested this one. First on the test strip it smelled of an old lady, but when I tried it on my skin it was magic. It’s intense, stands out quite a bit and ultra feminine. When I wear it I feel like a fulfilled and powerful woman. Upon application, the red pepper notes are very noticeable, even gave me a cough, but after a few minutes it leaves a delicious musky rose scent which lasts quite a while on me.

More than roses, I detect raspberry, pomegranate and pink pepper. It’s a lovely and quite sugary scent. On my skin it stuck like glue; when I used it I had to be careful because even though I showered for three days in a row, the scent didn’t leave my hair. It works better in cool temperatures; I don’t recommend it in summer or hot spring days because it becomes heavy and must be used with great moderation. Finally, since they released this perfume and I was gifted it, I changed a lot, but seriously, its colour turned a deep orange and the scent became heavy, powdery and artificial in just 2 or 3 years. I know people with 10-year-old perfumes in perfect condition; I keep mine in the dark without heat. For a renowned Dior to go bad so quickly is disappointing, so I won’t buy it again. The comment by @elenish made me reconsider if it arrived spoiled. I thought about binning it and ended up gifting it; I wasn’t going to bin a perfume worth 100,000 Chilean pesos, so I gave it to my sister-in-law, she doesn’t use it much either, we agreed it’s better as a decoration. I also say that Fruit d’Amour Lilac by Emanuel Ungaro smells quite similar; if you want to smell like this without paying so much, it’s an option. I’ll do that.

  • I love Miss Dior and its flankers, especially this Absolutely Blooming which seemed rich when I tested it in store. But like almost all Dior perfumes, it doesn’t last on my skin (at most 3 hours), which hurts me. Still, I can’t help having it; I use a 5ml atomiser to reapply. These fruits and musky roses couldn’t be more to my liking. Its sillage is moderate, very versatile, I love it.

  • Acetatodeoctilo

If I had to sum it up: scent of an empowered woman. Perfect balance between romantic and seductive. I bought it on offer blindly, worried about longevity, but on my skin it fixes perfectly. Ten hours after showering it was still there. The sillage is short, but anyone next to you will feel it securely. Be careful with applications: if I sprayed too much it saturated me, as it has a strong presence and can be heavy. Curiously, in the dry-down it has notes similar to Lancôme’s Nuit Tresor, but it’s its romantic and soft cousin. Simply a gem.

  • The raspberry and pink pepper create the magic in this version. It could be an excellent option once I finish my Miss Dior Cherie. For now, I can’t find an occasion to replace this one. It seems like the sister of the classic reformulated EDP, for daily and less formal occasions. I’d recommend it for a teenager or for a blind buy. Update: I bought it at a good price and I’m happy, I couldn’t get it out of my head. I love it, I’ll use it all winter and see how it performs in spring.

  • It’s the most feminine perfume I own. A richness that inspires me to dress in pink or white, elegant and super feminine. It smells like a garden of freshly watered roses with a delicate touch of sweetness. The only sad thing is that it doesn’t last long and it hurts to have to reapply. It’s a shame because I love it.

  • I was crazy about owning a Miss Dior and they gifted me this one, but what a sad surprise: I didn’t like it at all. It smells like powdered juice. After a while it feels better, but I wouldn’t buy it for anything in the world.

  • I couldn’t stand it, I sold it. I bought it with effort and blindly, expecting something fresh, crystal clear and clean, but got the opposite. It’s expensive and, although the scent is nice, it’s not cheerful; it’s tiring. It lasts a long time but only smells of vanilla; the flowers disappear quickly leaving a musky vanilla that feels musty and sticky. The concept doesn’t match reality. The price isn’t justified. No Miss Dior convinces me because of that sticky note that makes me feel old at 32. I’d wear it at 50 when I get married, but for now I prefer Rose ‘n’ Roses, which is more balanced. It projects heavily in the streets, smelling like a mall. I know someone will like it, but I want to be honest. I never detected the raspberry.

  • An exquisite fragrance, both classic and modern. Its longevity is extreme: a cocktail of strong red fruits and roses evolving into a luminous musky base. It lasts for hours without that invasive pepper, very balanced. It’s a liquid to be used with moderation, as it overwhelms in the heat. It’s a feminine Miss Dior with body and projection. Works well in mild or cold climates. Now I find it more beautiful and exclusive than before.

  • Candycandy40

Smells like Vie Est Belle but with better projection and sillage. Ideal for spring or cold days; it’s potent at first and can be overpowering, but it becomes my favourite thanks to that sparkling blackcurrant note. I recommend it.

  • I went with high expectations to try it in a perfumery due to its good reviews, but I did not like it. It is not that I think it is a bad fragrance, but as soon as I smelled it, it reminded me of the scent my grandmother had. It seems to be one of those very lady-like perfumes and is not at all what I expected; I thought it was a more youthful scent. What I felt most was the rose scent, quite talcum-like, and I never perceived the raspberry note. The projection on my skin was moderate and I highlight that it does have good longevity. It is all a matter of taste, but it did not work for me.

  • I received this fragrance as a gift and it was very pleasant to me. It has conveyed a feeling of comfort, it cheers me up, and it is also very sophisticated and feminine. Its trail is moderate. I will continue to test it and see how it works. I liked it.

  • For those who say this fragrance is weak, apart from the chemistry each one has with perfumes (and unfortunately we learned the hard way with Dior and almost all brands today with their reformulations), I know their launches are not usually cheap, but if you like something, buy it during its launch year. My bottle is from 2016 and unfortunately feels a bit oxidised despite keeping it like almost my entire collection, in its box and at stable temperature. This is without a doubt the most potent Miss Dior I have tried, apart from the magnificent original (though very bitter and green to my taste) and my favourite and discontinued ‘Cheríe’. It is equally the one I consider most a chypre, not like many neo-chypres of today. To my nose, what I feel most and do not like much are the blackcurrants with roses; all the other fruity notes melt into an intense fruity-floral accord. I feel in the opening that this composition added, like a genome in genetic sequences, some accord from the Miss Dior 2012 and even the 2017 (or vice versa), but it is an imperceptible thing, like a déjà vu. One also feels the pink pepper and, as happens with all modern Miss Dior, its background musk touch could not be missing, and perhaps a touch of that sugared patchouli to season it all. Unfortunately, it is not the fluid patchouli of 2012 (which, like its almost sibling Coco Mademoiselle, I like very much). As I said, this fragrance is well intense, especially in its first two hours; afterwards it gets closer to the skin and stays easily perceptible for 6 or 8 hours (batch 2016, I remember once more). To those who find some relation with the ‘SI’ line by Armani, it also reminds me of it in some way, and since that line never interested me (though I consider it very good), I keep this only for collection and love for the Miss Dior line that fell in love with me since I had the pleasure of trying Cheríe and the subsequent Demachy reformulation which I also liked quite a bit.

  • MarinaEtoile

It is one of those fragrances that radiates class without being loud. I would not define it as a granny scent, but definitely I associate it with a woman over 35. What I appreciate most in the opening is the pink pepper, which then gives way to the combination of rose and peony in a perfect balance; I do not feel one more than the other. When drying, it is slightly talcum-like, but very slightly, because throughout its development it does not lose that acidic point of the blackcurrants. The projection is moderate, but one must be careful not to overdo it, especially in summer, as it can be annoying. The combination is very enjoyable with that clean Dior musk that seals their perfumes. My final conclusion is that it is a distinguished perfume that I would definitely buy again. It screams presence, class, and elegance.

  • anndrea12

This perfume has great class, like all the Miss Dior. It is an elegant youth (I see many associate elegance with being over 50, as if older people smell bad; what bad taste and little education to say someone smells old). Continuing with my review: it is a fairly elegant and feminine scent, quite peculiar, with red fruits very different from what we are used to. On skin, it lasts a long time. I see it for cold days and spring or summer nights, as it is quite sweet and a bit strong. Not suitable for all tastes; I recommend trying before buying.

  • What a tremendous scent! What an exquisite combination of notes! Notes that I cannot stand in other perfumes, such as blackcurrant or the musky base, but in this Miss Dior flanker I love them. Nothing like the original: this is well floral-fruity with the right amount of musk, which does not make it so stately. I think what I like most is that it does not smell only of patchouli, but of Miss Dior. The pink pepper adds originality in my opinion. The trail and longevity are excellent, very recommended for cold weather or mid-season. I find it sparkly, so I associate it with parties, elegance, glamour, refinement, and night. I always receive compliments. If you are a fan of floral-fruity scents, this is a must-have.

  • Stephaniemvp

It is an absolutely delicious perfume. I only say this: buy it. It has great class; of all the Miss Dior, for me this is the best.

  • Frambuesas

Elegant, good taste, refined. A perfume that allows one to live the princess fantasy. It was an instant love upon smelling it for the first time due to its explosion of delicious raspberries, and I stayed for the rose jam it has when drying. Essential in the collection of any raspberry lover.

  • They say noses change over time (or that we train them). If someone had told me a year ago that Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming would be my obsession, I would have said I dislike blackcurrants and that all Dior perfumes are the same. I’ve never been lucky with this house: I didn’t like the J’adore, the Poison gave me headaches, the Addict nearly knocked me out, and the Miss Dior always seemed boring. But 2023 taught me that love is born of habit and that one can convince oneself to fall in love with a perfume through pure self-deception. Due to personal circumstances, I was forced to buy a bottle. After trying the entire collection in the shop, I discovered this was the one closest to the mythical chypre I remembered from 2012. I applied it to my hand and walked around the square, delighting in its opening: red raspberry and bright blackcurrants, with that earthy, metallic touch of the cassis. The best part is the pink pepper, lovely and giving dimension to the flowers. The rose and peony feel fresh, sweet, and bright; they are not as prominent as the fruity part, but they are there, and that combination of pink petals highlights the entire Miss Dior line. In the end, it leaves a pink musky scent that I do not dislike. The perfume’s life is wonderful and it asks nothing of the rest of the collection. It lasts 8 hours on skin, with a strong trail for the first two hours and then closer to the body. What I like most is the iconic bottle: square, heavy, with its silver plastic ribbon. It looks beautiful on any dressing table. My recommendation is total, especially above the EDP which I did not like at all: a timid, powdery vanilla, turned into a loose floral amber that has nothing to do with that sparkly, vibrant pink idea. But who knows; if I could convince myself to love the Absolutely Blooming, why not the millionth reformulation?

  • If I had to define it in two words: ‘simply beautiful’. It is one of my favourites; when I wear it, I feel cheerful thanks to its scent and secure, as at least one person will ask what I’m wearing.

  • I LOVE IT! It’s better than Blooming Bouquet. It has a delicious sweetness without being overwhelming and lasts a long time. One day I sprayed it on my wrist and on my mum too; it lasted 2 days even though I showered, washed my hands, went to a restaurant and sprayed other perfumes. Once dry, you notice the musky aroma. I adore it, I’d give it 9.5/10.

  • Delicious. I remember trying the whole Poison and Miss Dior collection; none caught my attention until the sales assistant applied this and my nose was saturated. Minutes later, I sensed an exquisite aroma, caramelised raspberries, youthful fruity sweetness. It was addictive; I asked again and felt a strong, sweet opening, slightly spicy. Absurdly rich. It’s not strident or cloying, but enveloping and deep. The opening is strong but balanced, sweet with a pink pepper note, then red fruits and flowers like raspberry and blackcurrant caramel with roses and peonies. Over time, it becomes softer and a soft, tender musk appears. I apply it at 6 a.m. and there’s still a scent the next day. It’s elegant, sweet and distinct from its cleaner siblings. It’s worth it. 9/10. Many say it smells like granny or vintage, but I think they’re confusing it with the rest of the collection, which is fresher and cleaner. This is the only purely sweet one. Notice the small name under Miss Dior; the sales assistant got it wrong several times. In summary: absolutely delicious.

There is a fine line between princess perfume and granny perfume. I feel this one is balanced, varying according to skin pH. It’s lovely, nothing more. Try it before buying to see which side it falls on. I applied it 7 hours ago and I still smell it; the longevity is very good.

When I started with perfumes, Miss Dior was for grandmas. I challenged my sense of smell by trying the whole line, and Absolutely Blooming was the only one that didn’t give that impression; I found it incredible, paradise. I used the 100ml bottle day and night in winter. My skin doesn’t hold scent for long (it was gone in 3 hours), but I kept the bottle. Today I smell the bottle and enjoy the scent more than before; I’d buy it again despite the poor longevity. I like playful, feminine fruity-floral notes; this is one of them.

  • A beautiful perfume. It accompanies you all day with an incredible trail. It reminds me of the Miss Dior EDP I had before the reformulation. It’s long-lasting, feminine, floral and classic, but with a touch that sets it apart. I’m in love.

  • I love it; it’s in my top 5 forever. It smells incredible and lasts a long time, especially on clothes. It’s not for much heat; in summer I use it for night parties. In autumn, winter and spring, I adore it. I love fruity florals.

  • pparis2304

Hello! I left it for a few months and when I returned to using it, I said: ‘Woooou! What a delight, I forgot what it was about.’ It has a fine, sophisticated fruity aroma. They say it’s a princess perfume and a pretty girl scent, and they’re right. Dior, please, do not discontinue it.

  • I bought it based on recommendations, and the truth is, it’s not youthful; it smells like an old-fashioned perfume, potent and not really for young girls. To me, it smells like Azzaro’s Wanted Girl, which isn’t for girls either. Don’t buy it blindly.

  • I fell in love with it the moment I tried it in the store. I used to hate Miss Dior Cherie, so I gave it to my mum as a gift, but this one smells exquisite. It’s fruity and citrusy, super fresh and versatile for any season. In my opinion, it’s incredible.

  • I wanted Blooming Bouquet but it wasn’t available, so I tried this. It’s not bad, but it’s very strong; it gave me a headache (hopefully that’s a lie). It smells of an invasive strawberry, not like the ‘granny’ scent everyone says, but more like a young girl. At almost 30, it’s not for me, but the longevity is madness: it lasted 3 or 4 days on washed clothes. Ideal for summer, but use it sparingly as the trail is huge. I’d give it 3.5.

  • Nefertiti625

The scent is potent, feminine and elegant; it drives my boyfriend crazy. Of all the perfumes I own, it’s his favourite and he says it’s the sexiest; he says no perfume has ever made him feel things like this, haha. I don’t love it as much anymore because I’ve used it a lot. I’ve had it for quite a few years and after letting it mature, I realise it smells like expensive makeup, literally. I would wear it in autumn and winter in the afternoon or evening. It lasts easily more than 12 hours and on clothes until you wash them. Highly recommended. It’s running low and my boyfriend has already told me he’s going to buy me another bottle xD

  • As another girl commented, I also made the mistake of buying it blindly. I actually wanted the Blooming Bouquet, which is the most youthful, and this one is a bit less so. Its trail is potent and radiates a lot, just like the longevity; it’s the first perfume to last me more than 12 hours and even after showering I still have scent on my skin, worth every penny invested. The downside is that the rose with the musk makes it more lady-like than youthful. I still haven’t found an occasion to wear it, perhaps in winter, because in summer it would intensify too much and become overpowering. Recommended for those who like heavily rose-scented and powdery perfumes.

  • I made the mistake of buying it blindly because it was cheap due to discontinuation. It’s pretty, but very powdery, like perfumes from the past. Fortunately, the fruity notes give it a sweet touch that counteracts the powdery rose. Being an EDP, it has a powerful opening, leaves a trail and lasts a huge number of hours. Someday I’ll find an occasion to wear it.

  • Truth be told, a disappointment. Besides, it lasts too long and sticks to fabrics. It smells of very sweet, synthetic raspberry, it gives me a headache, it’s not youthful at all, it smells like a grandmother’s dressing room: powder, sweet and old. Don’t buy it blindly.

  • My girlfriend loves it. It smells exquisite and DEFINITELY it’s the best in the line. In truth, wherever we go, without exception, it receives compliments from other women, both acquaintances and strangers. Perfume beauty.

  • For me, it’s the best Miss Dior flanker. That powdery touch makes it very refined and not overwhelming. It’s a perfume that invites you to sniff it. What a pity it’s discontinued.

  • DaviniaTolkien

I’ve had it for five years, bought in-store when I heard it was being discontinued and kept it, only using it for travel. Today I finally decided to wear it, but I still feel that off-putting patchouli note that steals the show from the rose and top fruit. I wish it stayed that way, because afterwards it’s just that patchouli puree and a sweetness I don’t like in the latest Miss Diors. Perhaps it’s my nose or I just need to wear it more, but it reminds me of CK Euphoria, which doesn’t carry patchouli but I still sense it. It’s very praised, but I don’t know… I’ll give it more chances, after all, it’s one of the most loved flankers. I’m wearing it cold today.

  • Flor d agua

What can I say, it’s straight into my top 5 and gets the most compliments. It’s not for children, but from the age of 20 onwards, people really enjoy it. I love the fruity notes and how long it lasts on me, even with my sensitive skin. Someone always comments on how lovely it smells in the room. Red berries to die for, I adore it and have bought several refills because it’s discontinued, which is a shame as it’s an absolute gem.
