I absolutely love how it settles after two hours, leaving behind a calmer rose. At first, the citrus and pepper blend feels excessive to me; I suspect some undeclared ingredients are missing. I’ve also tried the Divain version; while the notes were similar, it didn’t smell the same as the original. Almost, I’d say I prefer the Divain version because I noticed less of that strong opening mix. At 162 euros for the 125ml bottle, it’s an eau de toilette. It’s pricey, but that’s the cost of exclusivity. At least the quality is evident, and yes, it lasts as well as one would expect from an EDT. You really need to love rose and patchouli to enjoy this. It’s a chypre scheme; personally, it’s not my style, and I prefer other scents in the range. I don’t agree with the seasonal ratings: this feels overwhelming in the heat and redundant in spring. But everyone has their own tastes.

Here we have a rose-patchouli combo that walks through life carefree, without pretensions of being noticed, yet with a purity and quality that will delight your personal enjoyment and anyone who gets too close. It shouts quality in silence, doesn’t complicate things with too many nuances, knows who it is, and isn’t after more. The patchouli in the base is clean, leaving no trace of impurity to contaminate the rose, the queen of the composition. The citrus and pepper accentuate its charms upon emergence. Surprisingly, it lasts a long time on my skin, around eight hours, with medium-low projection which I appreciate for conveying that intimate and personal touch I seek in enclosed spaces. I do perceive it as suitable for a young woman in her twenties, refined, uncomplicated, and neat.
Bretagne
A rose-patchouli combo with a spiced and lemony opening, leaving the rose as the main protagonist in the dry-down. It doesn’t invent anything, it’s not a complex fragrance, but it doesn’t pretend to be one either. If you’re looking for an elegant and luminous rose fragrance, perfectly executed, with excellent quality for use at any time of year, Paris-Paris is a very good option.

You are a subtle and delicate rose. You have the exact patchouli to sweeten the petals of a rose bathed in morning dew. I like you not only for your delicacy and elegance but also for your discretion. If I seek you with my nose, there you are; you stay permanent for four hours, shining in rhythm with my skin.

An elegant scent; I perceive it as unisex. It’s a green and slightly earthy patchouli; I don’t think it will be to the taste of the young. It has good longevity, although its trail isn’t very wide in my opinion.

I have it, and for me, it’s Terre d’Hermes pink, of subtle nothing, very pleasant.
