  Queens Bond 9 is marvellous! It reminds me of my husband’s Dolce & Gabbana Eau de Toilette, which I adore and which elevates me to something sublime. As its name suggests, this perfume transports me to a throne. It has an incredible longevity: 24 hours on the skin and weeks on clothes. It suits both men and women beautifully; on me, it feels feminine and deliciously sophisticated. In the opening, you clearly detect the sweet blackberry and comforting neroli, giving way to an intense blend with a playful, captivating, and intoxicating trail. I love it for going out partying in any season. Its amber note captivates me. Perfumer Laurent Le Guernec has several in my collection, and this one deserves a standing ovation.

  Fresh and easy to wear, smells incredibly clean. It bears a striking resemblance to Lancôme’s Jasmin Masipan; the opening is almost identical, but once it dries down, there’s a noticeable difference, though Lancôme still edges ahead in quality. This lasts about six hours compared to the other’s three, and the trail is lovely. Imagine wearing them together: a duration bomb! You can tell it’s quality, perfect for the office or enclosed spaces.
