Now I know why it’s called that; it’s pure Ralph nostalgia, nothing more. I loved it because it transported me back to those crazy 2000s. I also picked up Lust and it’s been brilliant. Well done, Zara 👍 A few weeks later, I’ve realised it smells very much like Ralph Lauren Polo Sport Woman 1997, especially once it’s dried down. And yes, for me, there was definitely more nostalgia for that era, hahaha…

  2. I tried it in-store and thought it smelled like Fructis shampoo. I’m not saying it wasn’t elegant, but it had a clean, fruity floral touch. I didn’t buy it to test how long it lasted. Hours later, I suddenly thought of Ralph Lauren, but with that very subtle white floral and aquatic twist. I think it would be the modern version for today’s teenagers. I won’t buy it because I already own the original, which I adore; it lasts forever and projects an absolute beast…

I bought this because the kiwi and cedar notes promised something lovely and different, but unfortunately, it wasn’t so. It’s fresh and fruity, but I can’t detect the kiwi; at first it smells fruity, but instead of kiwi, I get green apple with white flowers. I can’t quite identify the gardenia or the cedar. It reminds me of children’s apple and kiwi shampoo; it’s simple, fresh, and clean, but apart from the bottle, it’s not worth the price and adds nothing new to my collection. Its longevity and sillage are very low, perhaps the lowest in this Shades collection.
