Delicate, super delicate, comfortable, long-lasting, fresh, floral and clean. I absolutely love this Zara line; Nirvana in particular is something fresh, soft, clean and luminous amidst so much vanilla and dupes. I’ve had it in my new collection for about two or three weeks and it has already mellowed (happened to me with Atelier’s Mochi too); now it has more body and clings to the skin for hours. It’s a very pleasant sensation of floral cleanliness, sweet, fresh and with a herbal touch. For the price and because I trust Zara, I’m thinking of buying a refill. If you’re looking for a quiet, intimate and personal perfume for all year round, I recommend this Shades.

Shades of Nirvana and Shades of Bliss are my top picks from the collection so far. The bottle is the prettiest Zara has put out recently; although they came in 100ml, the 50ml size suits me best, and despite its design, the price remains reasonable (Amancio, don’t get upset, the Arabs are in fashion). As for the fragrance, I expected something more spiced and fresh given the name, and it delivers at first, but within minutes it turns into a white floral and woody scent. Jasmine is the star, very welcoming thanks to the musk and sandalwood, making it friendly, versatile and very feminine. The sandalwood provides the woodiness and the musk the cleanliness. There’s an unlisted sweet fruity base that smells like peach. It lasts about six hours on me and is noticeable all the time. It reminds me of CK Beauty for that woody jasmine, although this smells more current. Despite not having many white florals, I’ve liked it for its simple beauty and longevity. Review of this and other fragrances from the collection on my Instagram, TikTok and YouTube @probadoaprobado.

Shades of Nirvana and Shades of Bliss are my favourites from the collection. The bottle is the prettiest Zara has put out recently; although they came in 100ml, there’s also 50ml, which is the ideal size for me. Despite how beautiful they are, the prices remain reasonable (Amancio, don’t get upset, the Arabs are in fashion). As for the scent, I expected something more spiced and fresh given the name, and it delivers at first, but within minutes it transforms into a woody white floral. The king is jasmine, very welcoming thanks to the musk and sandalwood, making it friendly, versatile and very feminine. The sandalwood provides the woodiness and the musk the cleanliness. There’s an unlisted sweet fruity base that smells like peach. Longevity is good, about six hours on me. It reminds me of CK Beauty for that woody jasmine, although this smells more current. Despite white florals not being abundant in my collection, I’ve liked it for its simple beauty and longevity.
