I bought this in my twenties and picked it up again at 44; it remains fine, elegant and feminine. It smells of fresh roses and clean musk that leaves you feeling polished. It’s incredibly long-lasting, almost like an extrait de parfum, and I recommend buying it blind.

A fragrance I used in my youth and repurchased some time ago. It hasn’t changed a bit: it’s sparkling, cheerful and versatile. Men have complimented it on me many times. On my skin it lasts more than 12 hours, which is impressive!

I don’t understand why people talk about different versions; it’s exactly the same. The bottle no longer has the gradient and the box isn’t metallic, but that’s all. It’s one of my favourites, it puts a smile on my face and makes me feel adult and professional, distinguished yet with a youthful touch. It needs to be used in moderation because if you apply too much it becomes suffocating. A little goes a long way and reapplying is the key. It lasts a long time and has good sillage. Yes, it smells of rose, but not like typical cheap cologne. Many people find it ordinary or synthetic, but it’s been on the market for nearly 20 years for a reason.

At first it smells strong, almost foul, but then it transforms into a very pleasant and balanced sweet citrus floral. It lasts about 6 or 7 hours on me. I recommend it for autumn and winter; in summer it can feel heavy.

It was my first love and my first imported perfume. It’s beautiful, feminine and sensual, with delicious roses. The reality is it doesn’t last long and here in Argentina the price is very high for an EDT. Perhaps I’ll return to it one day; for now I remember it with affection.

The most versatile of the Very Irresistible range. When I smell it on a woman, I’m immersed in a rose garden and it puts me in a good mood. Unlike the EdP, it’s not so sensual; I simply enjoy it and it gives pleasure. That anise rose is very long-lasting, although its projection is moderate, which gives it distinction. It suits any weather except extreme heat and any occasion except a nightclub. It makes a woman of any age look more interesting. A colleague uses it at least twice a week and it suits her perfectly. I gave it to my wife and she doesn’t like it as much; she prefers gourmands; I think she applies it just to please me. I’m surprised LVMH hasn’t reformulated it much, although they say the longevity has dropped; in my experience I don’t notice that change.

I love this fragrance; I like it more than the EDP. It is more sparkling and versatile. Basically, it is a very sensual rose accompanied by anise and patchouli. Few notes achieve such a delicious perfume, very sexy, youthful, and suitable for any occasion.

It has good projection, more than 6 hours on skin, and it has the DNA of the Hot Couture that I adore so much. I like it for this heat and for everyday wear. 7/10.

I am not a fan of rose, but over time it becomes sweet, like vanilla, even though I do not wear it, and it smells exquisite. It has good projection, more than six hours on the skin; it has the DNA of Hot Couture, which I love so much, which is why I was surprised. I like it for this heat and for everyday wear. 7/10.

A very delicate perfume. It’s a pity its longevity is so short. The roses and anise are its standout features. I love Givenchy perfumes, but this one doesn’t last long.

I liked it. Very similar to the EdP Sensual. On my skin it does last; I wore it last night and it still smelled of vanilla and/or anise by noon. I definitely prefer its scent during the first 6 hours. I’m not sure if the longevity is due to the tropical heat or my pH. It has the essence of the Very Irresistible.

I detect sweet roses with a mentholated touch. It seems sexy, fun, fresh, clean, and quite feminine. It has good longevity and projects enough to be noticed, so just two applications suffice. When would I wear it? To go out with friends, parties, or gatherings, in the afternoon or evening, in spring, autumn, or winter. Would I buy it again? Yes, it is worth it. Very well done, Givenchy!
