Let me start by saying Invictus Victory isn’t a signature perfume for me. At 26, I see it for use between 18 and 28. Why do I say this? Because I’ve found a taste for it with a larger collection; I use it occasionally, not to impress, but as a casual opening scent. I think it can be used in spring due to the lime, vanilla, and pepper mix (obviously in winter/autumn it feels like home). Avoid using it in extreme heat. It’s an interesting piece despite what I say; its scent reminds many of Axe Chocolate, but I think they confuse it with Axe Gold which has oud wood and dark vanilla, which I see it as more similar to. Obviously one is by Paco Rabanne and the other is a Unilever deodorant, hahaha. In summary, it’s a flanker of Invictus that moves away from the original formula, I rate it a 7/10. I recommend it if you’ve used a lot of Invictus and are looking for a change from that already generic scent. If I had to recommend an Invictus, I’d go for Intense, but it’s discontinued. If you want a signature perfume while young, I’d go for 212 VIP, Eros (supposedly reformulated and the EDP is better) or 212 VIP Black. They say Scandal is another good option I’m waiting to try. Beyond my opinion, I recommend trying it, I’ve seen many people wear it, the important thing is that you like it and feel secure using it; the scent is rich, there’s no doubt about that.

I’m writing this before bed, hoping the bathroom is free. In this fragrance, only two notes stand out: vanilla and amber; that’s all you feel. It smells vanilla, earthy, or powdery, a very pleasant aroma that doesn’t bother, but… it lacks something, something that says ‘this smells like Victory Elixir’, but it doesn’t have it. I feel it more for layering to give it the punch it lacks. Another thing: it’s not very sweet; it gives you peace, serenity, calm, something that relaxes you. For heat, it’s not what you’re looking for. What am I saying; you could easily wear it in the heat without bothering anyone, but the perfume tells you it’s not for heat. It feels like a quiet, cool place, like a library, a good restaurant, or a cool spot just to relax. I do recommend it, but as someone else said: sometimes it smells bad, and I think it’s when it mixes with sweat and heat (when I wear it outside and sweat, it smells bad), but in a cool place it’s very comforting.

I bought it blindly and it hooked me instantly. Upon smelling it, it reminds me of that Axe Chocolate everyone used in high school, but I’ve loved it immensely. It’s super pleasant when it’s cold, which is a blessing here in the desert where the weather is either hell or a freezer; this lotion gives an extra, necessary warmth. Longevity: 7/10, I thought being an EDP Extreme would last longer, but it barely lasts 6 hours on the skin, though it lingers on clothes all day. Sillage: 8/10, it’s quite noticeable and I like it. Smell: 7/10, honestly, sometimes it smells very synthetic or that chocolate note is confusing because there’s no real chocolate in it. Price: 9/10, for 1,500 pesos (80 dollars) it’s a bargain. I recommend it only if you’re between 16 and 24, or in high school or university, and for going out to clubs or semi-formal night parties, like a quinceañera or a simple wedding.

Alright, let’s start with longevity: the duration is very good, personally it lasts past 8 hours for me, reaching maybe 10 hours on skin contact. Its projection and sillage are very good. I bought this perfume led by comments that it smells like Axe Chocolate, and let me tell you, I don’t perceive it that way. It is true that it becomes a bit chocolatey, but it’s a delicious chocolate, nothing like Axe. Don’t let yourself be led by comments; if you’re not very convinced, try the perfume. Personally it has given me compliments; the first time I used it, my girlfriend told me I smelled very good and felt like a nice perfume.

I understand why many mention Axe. I had high expectations and thought it would be an exaggeration. It opens citrusy and sweet for a few seconds, promising well. But then comes that strange, chocolatey dry-down, which indeed smells like Axe de Chocolate. What a disappointment. Luckily I could try it before buying. It’s not unpleasant, but I don’t like associating myself with a deodorant. Better to go for the Elixir version; that one truly smells of caramel with Invictus touches. Scent: 4/10 (Axe smells better), Projection: 7/10, Longevity: 9/10. I’m not saying don’t buy it, but I would definitely go for Invictus Victory.

Invictus Victory smells of amber, spices, and sweetness. At first, it seemed lactonic and vanilla-forward, with that salty amber note giving it a strange vibe; it didn’t convince me, although as it dries down it becomes half-chocolatey, yet it still doesn’t play well with my skin. It’s more for cold weather, autumn, or winter, ideal for going out partying, with little versatility. The longevity was over 8 hours, and the sillage was noticeable for the first two hours before fading. As always, test it yourself before letting others’ opinions sway you, because what didn’t work for me doesn’t mean others won’t love it.

Invictus Victory is literally a beast of a perfume, the longevity is incredible. I can’t say the projection is super high, but it’s really worth a lot. Everyone likes the Elixir, but I choose it above all. It’s a youthful, sweet, and rich perfume; it gives a sensation of cake or cappuccino, something baked, hard to explain, it touches on gourmand. It could be a 10/10, but it’s not that versatile; in warm weather it’s a bit strong, so better for fresh days. I’d close it at a 9/10. Try it and compare. Those who say it smells like Axe Chocolate are very wrong, don’t be so lacking.

  8. I bought it blindly; the projection lasts about 2 hours quite well, and I detect it at around 6-7 inches on skin; it starts with a spicy lemon note with a hint of incense that gives it a strange aroma I didn’t like at all. It lasted about 40 minutes before turning half-chocolatey, just as several commenters say it resembles Axe Chocolate; that’s the base… personally, I don’t think I’ll buy it again, as I only bought it to complete my Invictus collection, but I don’t think I’ll use it, because its opening displeased me quite a bit and it takes forever to fade.

Greetings. Invictus Victory, the V of victory that accompanies you. I was surprised; I was used to the original and wanted to try this. WOW! It smells masculine and delicious. People say the same thing to me on night outs. It’s citrusy at first, then sexy incense without being smoky, and finally vanilla and amber. A proper fragrance. They say it smells like Axe de Chocolate, but no, it’s another level. Nothing to do with the original; it’s a fragrance in its own right and very good. If chocolate is noticeable, it’s deep and earns you compliments.

Within the Invictus family, this is one of the less worn. Despite its notes, what stands out most is the red pepper, vanilla, and amber. The opening is potent, but once it dries down, it becomes vanilla-focused and warm from the amber. It’s not excessively sweet; it has a perfect balance between sweetness and intensity. Although it’s not listed in the official notes, I perceive a hint of cocoa alongside the vanilla, like a slightly chocolatey vanilla. Contrary to some reviews, it’s not intrusive in summer and is pleasant even in warm climates.

Stepping away from the Invictus DNA that everyone uses is the greatest virtue of this Victory. It has a totally dark style, with sweet chocolatey vanilla and a slight fruity touch that reminds me a bit of Pure XS. A sweet amber accord is the protagonist of its great potency and longevity; it’s a sexy titan of the night. It didn’t propose anything innovative, but it changed the course of a lineage that had lost its magic. It’s perfect for these Christmas parties if you want to attract attention and leave a mark on every hug.

  12. Mmm, I don’t absolutely love it, but I sometimes buy it because I miss it. The scent is like those sweet perfumes from the 2020s, potent, overwhelming, and slightly playful. I already have two 100ml bottles and just picked up the 200ml one; I even hesitated buying the traditional 212 because that one is a total success. By the way, reading ManucoSeven’s review… hahaha, I laughed out loud at the bad breath comment. I know a friend who uses lots of fragrance to cover up bad breath, and it’s real, it happens to people!

  13. Anyone who says it smells like Axe de Chocolate is lacking shame. It’s pure propaganda: ‘repeat it until you believe it’. Like someone who wears Axe de Chocolate daily, I can’t find even 50% similarity. This fragrance highlights the blend of vanilla and incense, ideal for projecting seriousness. It’s potent, so don’t over-spray with more than six sprays or you and others will suffer. PS: If you want real chocolate, go for Bad Boy Extreme; here in Invictus Victory, that note isn’t even present.

I absolutely love this perfume; it smells delicious, haha. Although it doesn’t contain cocoa, I imagine it does, like the Bad Boy line by Carolina Herrera. It’s a good one; over time my opinion changed, and now I find it rich, like Axe Chocolate, but in a different way; it’s impossible they smell the same because they are absolutely not the same. Invictus Victory and Invictus Victory Elixir are spectacular (although the Elixir surprisingly projects more). 8.7/10

  15. Rick Azafranado

It’s a somewhat playful perfume but it doesn’t fully convince me, not because it’s bad; in fact, it smells very good, but for the price it’s really not worth it. There are many much cheaper perfumes that offer the same, both Arab and designer, which are less overpriced. Another thing is that it’s not potent; although it lasts on skin for about 6 to 8 hours, it doesn’t leave much of a trail. For it to come out at $130 or $150 is an abuse.

I arrived at a Duty Free and went round and round on everything until a sales assistant showed me this one I hadn’t tried and I hooked immediately. It has something similar to Givenchy Absolu in the vanilla accord and I think it carries a hint of cinnamon. For cold climates or a fresh night, it’s superb, lasts a long time. Watch out! Don’t overapply, it’s very strong. It’s worth it!

What a great scent! I started talking to my ex about how good it smells, and he said it’s his favourite, even above Le Male Parfum. He started recognising me in places just by the smell. I will definitely buy another bottle when this one finishes; it will be my first winter purchase without a doubt, perfect for any cold weather. 10/10.

How delicious! A delight, you must try it, although it’s not for everyone. I’m not a fan of the Invictus line and had read bad reviews of this (I prefer fresh, citrus, and fruity fragrances), but upon testing it in the store out of curiosity, I was enchanted. Ideal for going out at night in the cold; with 5 sprays you’re a beast.

First time trying my first designer perfume. The opening is spicy and potent, but it overwhelms me a little. As it dries, it smells of chocolate and vanilla, very pleasant and warm, although not very versatile; I only see it for winter, at night, and for parties. After hours, it becomes sweet, like a woman’s lipstick with cocoa.

I had my doubts, but it disappointed me. I’ve been testing it and its performance doesn’t do it justice. The scent is pleasant but weak; I’m sticking with Platinum or Parfum. It’s a pity it lacks strength and quality compared to previous versions. Anyway, it’s not worth spending almost 100 dollars on a mediocre fragrance.

  21. Literally the only thing I can say is that it’s delicious but one step below Invictus Victory Elixir. Basically, if you can buy this, check before buying the other, which is superior in my opinion. Although I repeat, this perfume is very rich and chocolatey and I recommend it, but much more so is Victory Elixir.

  22. The opening doesn’t quite convince me; it’s very citrusy and sharp. However, once it dries down, the harmony of lavender, vanilla, and incense is beautiful. It reminded me of L’homme Ideal by Guerlain but more ambered. I liked it a lot, though it might be too sweet for my taste, so I hesitate to buy it.

It doesn’t work on my skin; it’s barely noticeable. I can’t distinguish any aroma, just feel something avoirdupoised and ambered. It’s not for me. There’s something curious: when I give it a good sniff, suddenly I get a note that gives me the vibe of bad breath, hahaha.

  24. Andreslgm

I wear it for months without stopping because it’s wonderful: all the richness of vanilla but super spiced and totally masculine. The best of Invictus without resembling it, with performance a thousand times better and beastly projection to stand out anywhere.

It doesn’t list cocoa on the label, but it’s unmistakable! Just don’t confuse it with Pure XS Night, as many people mistake the caramel for chocolate (they are worlds apart). Night is closer to Scandal, whereas this one truly has the soul of Bad Boy Extreme.

Smells great on me: citrus and lavender at the start, with incense and a vanilla that doesn’t shout but, combined with the woods and sweetness, it’s ten out of ten. Smells like a serious, oiled-up man, and I’ve never found a similar scent to Axe.

I absolutely love it! It smells of powdery cocoa, sweet but subtle, with little else to add and almost none of the Invictus DNA. It’s a hit for cold, autumn, or winter. Pity that in my country (Argentina) it’s so expensive, over $130 for 100ml.

Starts with a spicy, unusual note, like lemon with lavender, which can burn your nose if you overapply. Then it dries down to a super clean, sweet lavender, almost identical to Victory Elixir, and the longevity is brutal.
