I like the opening, but once it settles it smells too masculine for my taste and leaves a sweaty scent. I’ll try it again, but I usually don’t change my mind if I’m not convinced at first.
It gives me a Scandal Pour Homme EDT vibe, but calmer and more unisex feminine.
I was given a sample and as soon as I tried it, I was very surprised by how good it smells. My wife and I loved it and we didn’t hesitate to buy a bottle. Very warm and easy to wear on summer afternoons and evenings.
I rushed to try this perfume today when I saw it on the page of a perfume collector. It’s a softer version of Rabanne’s Olympea, which I already have on my wishlist. It has a sharp, spicy opening that reminds me of lighting sandalwood incense, and after a little while it settles on the skin and finally becomes like Olympea: salt, vanilla, and spices. Unlike it, it’s suitable for everyday wear and for sweltering days, since you have to consider that it can make you a little dizzy. Ambré is much more unctuous and subtle, as they say in the comments, it smells like a more sophisticated cream. It’s a sensual and enveloping scent. I like it a lot, but I must say I love Olympea and prefer it; as soon as I can, I’ll get it.

The sillage is quite soft and, reading the reviews, I wished it really smelled of expensive cream; indeed, it has a creamy note, but there’s something that puts me off from the start and I don’t know what it is. Today I gave it a second chance and this time I applied more and spread it over my whole arm: after a few minutes I feel it smells like when you come back from the beach covered in sand and salt and you just want to shower, get rid of the marine residue and put on comfortable, clean clothes. I don’t want to smell like that on purpose.
