I love this fresh water. It didn’t convince me on the blotter, but on the skin, it’s super comfortable. I like it; it’s soft and has good longevity despite being an eau de toilette. On my skin, I don’t detect the citrus; it’s like an ultra-soft version of Tresor. I feel very happy with my new purchase.
What a wonderful smell! It’s a marvellous, fine, and elegant scent. I always say it’s perfect for a bride: it smells of rose at first, then intensifies slightly without being overpowering. It has excellent fixative qualities, though the price is a little on the pricey side.
Smells exactly like fresh rose buds freshly cut in the garden and lemon. Followed by a sweet but soft scent. It’s a very fresh and rich aroma, but for me, it lasts very little, only about three hours.
Fresh and ultra-feminine, smelling of lemon and rose. At first, straight from the cap, it’s very citrusy, but within three minutes, you smell the rose. In the heart, there’s a perfect balance between the two with an almond-like base. I wear it all year round, though it does evoke spring and summer. Good longevity with moderate to weak projection.
Perfect for summer mornings or intense heat days. The trail evolves gradually: it starts with a strong citrus burst, then the florals emerge, reminiscent of talc (like Kenzo Flower), though it doesn’t say so, it’s certainly rose. The musk is barely noticeable. It smells very Mediterranean, bringing back memories of holidays and that stifling heat.
I started wearing this EDT today, and for an EDT, it lasted more than 7 hours and smells great, honestly. I don’t like fruity scents, but this one suited me very well and I accepted it. Ideal for summer days and daily wear… nothing invasive or cloying. Recommended!
A clear example of well-made and structured musk work. It brings subtle evocations, letting the citrus and flowers shine in harmony. It evokes the French Riviera and is a Mediterranean, feminine, and youthful scent. The opening is citrusy, with a squeezed and crushed lemon that moves to a linear scent, yes, but to a pink rose with very well-executed sweet-and-sour tints and feminine. A rose present throughout its evolution, well accompanied by red fruity effluvia, making it romantic and innocent. It’s wearable, with good performance and a distinguished touch. Suitable for any occasion; it’s great for holidays, relaxation, and leisure. Lancôme adores roses in their fragrances, and here it’s a youthful, luminous, and cheerful rose. Good fragrance.

I couldn’t like it more! A perfectly crafted rose with lemon and musk. A perfume that brings me joy and calm 🙂
Despite its simplicity, this fragrance is a whole experience. Every time I smell it, especially after a break, I get a heady happiness I haven’t felt since Kenzo’s Amour Indian Holi was discontinued, and although they don’t resemble each other at all. It went crazy over me last summer when I discovered it by chance. Generally, I hate perfumes with citrus notes, but here they aren’t sharp at all. On the contrary: it’s very fresh yet cosy. The rose is light and the woody notes give it that interesting touch that makes me feel I’m wearing more than just a simple summer eau de toilette. It’s luminous, elegant, feminine, and unpretentious. Radiant and very, very beautiful.
I love it; it smells exquisite, citrusy and aquatic. It lasts more than 8 hours on me.
Despite its simplicity, this fragrance is quite an experience. Every time I smell it, especially after not using it for a while, I enter a state of intoxicating happiness I haven’t felt since Kenzo’s Amour Indian Holi was discontinued, and although they bear no resemblance to each other. It obsessed me last summer. I hate citrus perfumes, but here they aren’t piercing; it’s incredibly fresh yet cosy. The rose is light, and the woody notes give it an interesting touch, as if it carries more than just a simple summer perfume. Luminous, elegant, feminine, and unpretentious. Radiant and beautiful.
It’s timeless, feminine, with a floral sweetness that makes you feel confident about the scent you want to share. I think it would be ideal for women who are confident, intelligent, not at all strident, even slightly shy but kind, creative, and affectionate. A perfect aroma for the office, university classes, dinners where you don’t want to overwhelm the atmosphere, or for your evening reading moments. Simply special, with an unmistakable aroma in memory. My partner loves it; he says it smells clean and makes him feel happy. He associates it with my personality and likes that combination of emotional balance with a clean, floral scent. Regardless, it makes me feel good, I like it, and it’s my wardrobe staple for any occasion.

I’d been wanting to try it for ages; the citrus, rose, and peony notes promised well. The bottle is pretty, elegant, and feminine. At first, I was confused; it smelled of two-fruit bubblegum (citrus and pink pepper), which was odd but not unpleasant. Then the flowers came through with wood and ambrette musk; that’s when I liked it more. It lasts about 3 hours, plus 2 more on skin. It’s for daily wear, non-invasive, and elegant in its dry-down. The downside is that it doesn’t project much and doesn’t last long, although my skin usually highlights perfumes. I tried it in autumn; perhaps it would be better in summer. I’ll wait for spring-summer; I think it suits that season more based on reviews. It reminds me of Eaudemoiselle and its flanker Florale; they share citrus and floral notes with roses.
I tried it in 2012 and it was a beast: super citrusy with a floral touch, ideal for standing out. It’s the only summer scent that lasts on my skin. Without a doubt, I would buy it again.
What a lovely scent and the little bottle is a treat. Very classic; I’ve had it since last year and I love it. I bought it blind and got it 100% right. Keep in mind that the top notes are a bit strange, but as the hours pass, it changes and defines itself, confirming why you chose it. It has an incredible longevity. I adore it!
It’s a clean, floral, soapy base, incredibly enveloping and gentle. It smells of innocence, joy, and youth, like a walk under an orange sky in spring. Ideal for the office, university, or work; perfect for sharing space and fixing happy memories while feeling very feminine. It opens with plenty of Damask rose, without being invasive; paired with bergamot, it creates a fruity and floral duo that enhances the aquatic and woody notes. It’s well-constructed, slightly linear but with good development. Lasts all day on clothes and 4 to 6 hours on skin. I wear it in various situations, from dinners with friends to moments of concentration. It’s my fourth Azur and is now essential. Note: it’s not for loud women; it’s soft and floral-aquatic, nothing flashy to announce itself, but rather to dress you in cleanliness and femininity, something oriental or overpowering scents can’t achieve.
To me, it’s a fresh floral but overly cloying; that very sweetness just doesn’t suit me. It lacks any sense of liveliness, and I wouldn’t wear it on a hot summer day for anything.
For me it’s a fresh floral and quite sweet, and it’s precisely that sweetness that I find unpleasant. It doesn’t seem cheerful to me and I certainly wouldn’t wear it on a hot summer day.
It reminds me of the legendary Les Belles (Liberté Acidulée) by Nina Ricci. In fact, I want it for that reason; there’s nothing similar and the citrus of O d’Azur reminds me of it at first. It’s lovely, clean, and cheerful. I’m not one to tie perfumes to seasons unless they’re too plastic, so for me it’s timeless. It’s true that in summer some last less and this one should be tested to see if it lasts longer in winter, as longevity isn’t its best trait. Edit: I bought it in August 2023, what a wonderful opening! I retract a bit on the resemblance to Les Belles, as they only share the opening, which vanishes in minutes giving way to a very present rose. Stop comparing it so much to Les Belles. It’s a rose with a citrus and floral touch, super feminine, not cloying, delicate and sparkling. It’s not as similar to Les Belles as people say, but obviously they share a notable note. The rose reminded me of Wonder by Aristocrazy, but fortunately it’s not the same because I hated that one and sold it; it seemed simple and linear to me. This rose is finer, elegant, sophisticated, and seasoned with fresh and cheerful notes, making it unique. It’s a perfume to feel fresh, jovial, and delicate, one that brightens your day and isn’t overexposed: it’s neither the typical fresh nor the typical floral, it’s well balanced. I love the bottle. Perhaps I’ll regret it in winter, but for now I see it as elegant for something formal in winter and relaxed in summer, versatile and not too serious. It doesn’t attract attention but doesn’t leave you indifferent.
Incredible aroma, I bought it blindly on offer and it became one of my favourites. I’ve received many compliments. It’s sweet but not cloying.
I bought it on recommendation, blindly, and was encouraged more because it was discontinued and I got it at a good price. It smells good, sophisticated, elegant, soft, and very wearable for daytime or an informal meeting. I discovered that Bright Crystal Absolu is a perfect dupe; I have both and when I smelled O d’Azur it reminded me of one I already owned. It’s very similar to Versace’s Bright Crystal Absolu, but O d’Azur lasts longer and you need fewer sprays. The sillage is very soft, more of a personal scent than one to attract attention. I recommend it because it relaxes me and makes me feel clean and fresh.
It was my favourite. I don’t understand why Lancôme discontinued it. They told me they consider D’azur unprofitable as it only sells in warm areas like Spain. The rest of Europe prefers more solid scents, with more body, not so fresh.
It’s my aunt’s perfume and one day I asked to try it. It suits her better than me: it’s a linear cocktail of gentle flowers, with very fresh rose and peony and a bit of citrus, with a touch of musk to give it weight. It projects well at first, but becomes intimate in under an hour. That said, it lasted until I showered the next day. It’s feminine, for daytime, and for good weather. Very pleasant and a good wardrobe staple for those who appreciate subtle florals. But there are many similar perfumes if it’s discontinued. Pleasant: 6/10 Interesting: 1/10 Versatile: 7/10 Original: 1/10
A great disappointment. It smells nice for my taste, fresh and fragrant for summer, but if you don’t reapply every two hours with the bottle in hand, forget it. Never has a perfume lasted so little, and the sillage is non-existent. A fiasco and overpriced.
What a beautiful Fragrantica entry. I’ve had it for a year and use it in spring and summer. Today is winter and I tried it. The opening is lovely, a citrus, floral blend with a sweet touch. It’s elegant and delicate. On me, it lasts between 5 and 6 hours, which is decent for an EDT. It has Lancôme quality.
Unfortunately, it’s no longer available… now Chanel releases a version four times the price, reviving this O’azur. I wonder what’s going on at Lancôme. They only took two years to ‘copy’ the concept: freshness, fruity calm, and cleanliness. I considered Chanel Esplendide, but for £140 I expect something original, not a resurrection of my all-time favourite. I think Lancôme made a mistake by betting on long-lasting scents like VEB, as their new 2025 EDTs are just mimosa backgrounds, another musk with tomato, and another I can’t recall. Nothing you can’t find outside Lancôme. My review stems from the frustration of losing a good EDT so other brands can exploit it and raise prices.
Fresh and soft, with floating citrus and floral notes. The longevity is short, making it ideal for daytime or post-shower. Pleasant, but I wouldn’t buy it again.
