  • A very subtle floral fragrance with white flowers like gardenia, jasmine and orange blossom, watery notes of lotus and a young, delicate rose. It finishes with a fresh musk and a cypress that gives body without being too sweet. It’s not for winter, but for spring, summer nights and autumn. It smells of flowers without being strident, fresh and natural. It’s delicate, sensual and romantic, ideal for the office or formal and informal events. Longevity is moderate. The transparent pink bottle is beautiful. For me, it’s a lovely perfume that I use all the time for its versatility.

  • Delicate, feminine, romantic and cheerful. This new floral from Shiseido has fascinated me amongst so many sweet scents. It seems fantastic, with good longevity and projection. Since I tried it, I can’t get it out of my head and I want to buy it.

Ever Bloom, in my opinion, is not bad, but it feels unbalanced artistically and doesn’t justify its price. It’s a floral-white scent, very clean and simple, without sweetness or balsamic notes. It’s a friendly, neat floral that smells of rough musk and laundry detergent. Although the packaging is pretty, the fragrance is inexpressive and lacks a message. It seems to dishonour Shiseido’s tradition, as there is no connection to works like Féminité du Bois or Zen. The hinoki is barely a ghost. It’s not special; its launch seems opportunistic due to current trends, but compared to J’Adore, Acqua di Gio or Curious, it would pass unnoticed, as those offer similar things and are easier to find and cheaper. The best of Ever Bloom is its trail, longevity and versatility for any occasion or weather. It feels like Shiseido’s belated launch for the ’90s trend of ‘clean scent’. The only thing you can take from it is the background music from its advert.

For me, Ever Bloom isn’t bad, but it’s unbalanced. It’s a clean, simple floral-white scent, without sweetness or balsamic notes. It smells of stale musk and laundry detergent. Although the bottle is pretty, the scent is inexpressive and doesn’t fit with other Shiseido fragrances like Femenité du Bois or Zen. The cypress is barely noticeable. Compared with J’Adore, Acqua di Gio or Curious, it seems unlikely to have a future as it’s more expensive and harder to find. Its strengths are the sillage, longevity and versatility for any weather. It feels like an attempt to bring back the ‘clean scent’ of the 90s. The best thing is the music in its advert.

  • A soft, feminine perfume, very delicate, lasting all day and leaving a trail. On my skin, the flower explodes, especially the rose, with a touch of gardenia or lotus that makes it unique.

  • Soft, feminine and delicate. It lasts a long time on my skin and has good sillage. On my skin, the rose, gardenia or lotus develop beautifully. A very special perfume.

  • My brother gave it to my mother and it smells wonderful. It’s floral, slightly soapy and sweet. It reminds me of Curious but it’s different.

Love at first sight. Every time I visit a perfumerie, I try it and fall in love again. It’s delicious! One day it will be mine…

  • Arrived in 2015 and the advert blew me away: delicate, feminine and elegant with a beautiful melody. I bought the 30ml to see if it would become my favourite. The bottle is lovely, reflecting that ‘watery’ touch I was looking for. It’s a soft floral that lasts all day, highlighting the lotus and gardenia with a musky base and no wood. It has good sillage and longevity, but it smells a bit like laundry detergent, and as Shiseido rarely has cheap offers, I wouldn’t buy it again.
