I was eager to try it, but on my skin it feels very dense, smelling of oxidised rose with an acidic, serious edge. It projects massively, yet none of the notes really shine through and the wood is barely noticeable.

Incredible fragrance. It reminds me of Rose de Taif by Perris Monte Carlo. If I had to choose between the two, I wouldn’t know which to leave behind as both are gorgeous. Perhaps the Perris is slightly wilder, but that’s just my take. Ultimately, the perfume is so good that, like with great scents, less is more.
