Caught me off guard. I hate roses, but these don’t bother me at all. It’s fresh and light, with that fruity touch I adore. I find it incredibly versatile; I wear it day and night, in any season. It doesn’t overpower; it’s like the ideal office perfume.
Romantic and feminine, Idole is the youthful, elegant rose I always need. It’s my ‘what to wear today’ scent, suitable for everything. A clean, juicy floral aroma, as if the rose has a hint of vanilla that just adds a touch of sweetness. Lasts 6-7 hours, which is brilliant! ♥
I own it and it’s a delicacy. It lasts all day on the skin and even longer on clothes. I recommend it for spring, summer, and even autumn; I wouldn’t wear it in winter. 10/10😊
It is the most beautiful perfume I have ever tried. Once you have it, few others can appeal to you. 😍
I tried it on a free sample and I was surprised. I don’t usually like roses because they smell old-fashioned, but this is an exception. It’s a fruity rose with lots of sweet pear and jasmine, notes that fascinate me. It’s super refined, elegant yet perfect for daytime, fresh, clean, feminine and sweet without being cloying. I’m surprised I liked it so much; I would add it to my collection. Very refined.
Personal analysis in case it helps: 1. Versatility: all seasons, day and night, any occasion. 2. Longevity: between 4 and 6 hours. 3. Sillage and projection: moderate sillage but projects very well. 4. Skin chemistry: it fits perfectly; I would buy it again and use it every day, although I haven’t touched it in 3 months because I ran out last year.
My mother gave me a tester that I loved, but I didn’t realise it was Idôle Power and not the classic version. Buying it by mistake was a success. It smells fruity, sweet, with that powdery floral touch. It projects massively and lasts wonderfully; it has surprised me in every way because it’s not my usual type, but it will become a staple. I would say it falls into the gourmand category; it reminds me of a pear tart but more floral.
I smelled it when it launched and I loved it. It’s classic, with fruity and musky roses. Perfect for everyday wear; it almost smells like luxury rose shampoo thanks to the pear giving it that soapy touch. I bought it years later and wearing it puts me in a good mood. I don’t understand why it isn’t more popular.
It’s rich and elegant at the same time. Along with Miracle, these are the few Lancôme perfumes I truly like; it’s the one that flatters me the most and the one I’ve gifted the most. Ideal for autumn and spring; I wouldn’t recommend it for extreme summer heat because the roses can become overpowering, although for scents, there are no rules.
Super rich. Smells floral but not like your typical perfume; it has an elegant touch. Ideal for everyday wear. The longevity is top-notch; I wear it layered with roses or vanilla. A delicate aroma that doesn’t overpower and is very flattering.
I don’t usually love roses, but this smells delicious. The rose here is elegant, fresh and nothing like an old lady’s scent. It’s versatile, suitable for all ages and climates. Several people have told me I smell nice. Also, it’s not as common as others (like Cloud by Ariana), so you feel special. The top notes are my favourites: intense projection, with just 1 or 2 sprays is enough. It lasts 5-8 hours on the skin and longer on clothes. I wear it daily, but I enjoy it more on special occasions to feel pampered.
What a surprise this fragrance gave me. I had discarded it because of the Zendaya ad (like almost all modern ones), but what a discovery: it’s clean, delicate, elegant, feminine, and has incredible longevity. Although it launched in 2019, I enjoy it now as if it were brand new. My sister, the taxi driver, my boyfriend, and friends all agree that I smell amazing with it. I was struggling to find my signature scent, and this Idôle is a strong contender. It’s super versatile, a true all-rounder. The only thing that bothers me is the bottle: it doesn’t stand upright and it’s a shame to see it lying down. Otherwise, it’s one of Lancôme’s best offerings right now. The flankers don’t convince me, but the original is in a different league. It makes me feel gorgeous without any effort.
I loved it at first sniff. Smells delicious, clean, fruity, sweet, and elegant. Exquisite. The notes stay consistent; it smells very much of pear and flowers, you can tell how fruity it is, and it’s very feminine and creamy.
I like the original Idôle for its fresh, fruity opening with lots of sweet pear. The rose always stands out, but the other notes evolve while it remains constant. The opening is fruity, then you notice the musk, and the rose stays fresh, nothing powdery. It suits a lovely or elegant girl. It’s a hit for spring and autumn; I wouldn’t recommend it for extreme heat because the rose can become heavy, but it’s better for day wear than evening. It’s not old-fashioned; women of all ages wear it, and I even see young people wearing it as their signature. I wear it to feel pretty, soft, and well put together. Every time I move, there’s a lovely rose scent, nothing invasive, even for those who don’t usually like roses; this is the option.
I will always love it. Very floral, rich, intense, with a slight trail of coffee and salt that makes the longevity last.
A fresh, sparkling rose that brings joy. At first, it seemed very teenage (the advertising probably influenced that), but then I found, besides the joy, a grace between maturity and simplicity. For me, it’s the perfume for a mum in jeans, a white T-shirt, and Converse, who never stops and always looks well put together. It works all year round and in every occasion!
I went by a spray I put on my wrist a few hours ago in the perfumery. I don’t know if it has good chemistry with my skin or how, but wow. I detect a fresh, light rose with the sweetness of pear. Every time the scent reaches me as I move my arms, it cheers me up. I’ll try a dupe and hope it performs as well as the original because for spring and summer, it seems fantastic. I find it quite natural and not tiring. It feels refined on the nose and nothing too heavy.
It’s a fresh, very feminine and soft perfume, smelling mainly of roses, but not an herbaceous rose, rather a sweet one. It reminds me quite a bit of Herbal Essence’s rose shampoo. After some time, the rose scent becomes more noticeable. I don’t understand those who say it smells old; to me, it evokes a young, clean, sweet, confident, simple, and carefree girl. I understand why Olivia Rodrigo appears in the Power version, which is more intense with a touch of apple. Ideal for everyday wear.

I absolutely love it; it’s elegant, clean and fresh. You can really detect the rose with fruity, musky and vanilla notes. It lasts a long time and leaves a trail. It’s my favourite from the Idol line, perfect for everyday wear without being overpowering.
In my experience, I usually prefer gourmand fragrances; I must admit it has its charm. When I imagine wearing it, spring comes to mind: rose, sparkling, slightly playful, totally feminine, powdery, and with a youthful touch. Although it’s all a matter of taste, I consider this the type of fragrance that men like to smell on a woman (from my own experience); it seems excellent for a date; not everything has to be femme fatale.
The scent is rich and feminine, but… it happens to me with the Miss Dior ones too: they don’t speak to me. They are lovely, yes, but a bit boring.
I can’t explain why I wanted to buy it; in the shop it smelled of an affluent woman, fresh and floral, with everything I was looking for. Now that I wear it, it makes me very happy and is extremely feminine. Sometimes it smells like body cream, as friends have told me. The trail disappointed me a little; it doesn’t last all day or project as much for its price, but it compliments me sometimes. I love it and will keep buying it; it seems simple yet beautiful.
I was very excited about the hype. I smelled it in the shop and it was a ‘meh’: it smells good and is feminine, but it’s not much of a big deal; I’ve heard of richer scents 🙁
It’s my personal signature. During the pandemic, a gentleman said his perfume was unforgettable and asked me to wear it. Everything smells like Idole: my car, my room, my office. I live in the DR and the heat perhaps intensifies the pear and rose notes. It’s an olfactory jewel 💎, lasting hours on my skin.
It’s a pity because the scent is lovely: roses wrapped in sweet fruit, neither too sweet nor overly musky. My problem is that it lasts an hour and that’s it. Afterwards, only a faint trace remains, and on top of that, it’s expensive. I don’t know if it’s my skin, but unfortunately, it just doesn’t work for me.
Very feminine, with a good blend of roses and fruity notes. I agree with others: it may appeal to those who aren’t rose fans, as although there is a slight note, it doesn’t predominate or smell solely of that. Duration is normal and suitable for any occasion.
The patchouli in this fragrance makes my stomach turn. If you aren’t a lover of this scent, don’t hesitate to smell it before buying.

Fresh, clean and floral, it’s refined and immediately captivating. The longevity is brutal and the trail is incredibly wide. It works all year round and for any occasion. Very feminine, it has become one of my favourites; I’m absolutely blown away by it.
